This was my second time visiting Shaianne for lashes. She is very accommodating to my schedule, is transparent with pricing, and her studio is not too far from where I live. I travel back and forth between Jersey and Pennsylvania and Im so glad to have found a professional, dependable, talented lash artist in New Jersey. Shaianne is kind and genuine and has immense attention to detail. She doesn’t rush the process. Not to mention, her salon is very cute and the chair she uses for lashes is so comfortable! I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a lash artist.

My go to place when I’m in the State hands down. Great experience, Excellent services by Twins, who happen to be Fabulous go getters! Shaianne does my eye lashes, eye brows & make up she’s amazing at what she does, very personable & makes me feel super comfortable during every visit. Super grateful for those talented hands. Kaleigh is the best hairstylist in NJ perioddddd. She is very attentive to my needs & always executes the loook. Loveeeeee loveeee the suite it’s such a vibe. Love how they both accommodate me.Highly recommend them both. Because if you haven’t gotten slayed by the Twins then what are you doing?! It’s the Alter Ego Salon & Co for me ❤️

Alter Ego Salon is like one stop shopping for inner AND outer beauty. These ladies are masters of their respective trades, and are also just filled with this warm loving energy that makes people just naturally want to gravitate toward them! Geographically located right on Rt. 10 in the Roxbury/Ledgewood area, the building offers plenty of parking out front and additional parking in the rear. Since there are two entrances, you never have to walk far to get in. The building is fully ADA accessible and sports a digital entrance call box for the convenience of the customers and the safety of the staff. Inside the building is clean and bright. The salon suite itself is so cozy, you’ll want to hang out all day- and the Alter Ego staff are so warm and welcoming, you’ll feel like you’re having a ladies day out! When you first walk in, the aesthetics area is directly in front of you. To your right, you’ll find the hair dressing area. Each area is well-kept and tidy. The immediate wall features a waiting area/bench, and the opposing wall features an ivy and neon feature that begs for your before and after selfies. Both my daughters, both my sons, my husband, and myself all use this salon. My daughters’ eyelashes have never looked fuller or more beautiful. Shaianne is a master of her craft! Our hair has never felt more well-managed. Being a blended family, we all have different hair needs. Kaleigh understands how my curls differ from my daughters’ stick straight hair. She handles the boys’ cuts with ease, and she even fixed one of my son’s issues with dry, brittle hair that had been plaguing him for years! Prices are more than reasonable, and they offer multiple means of payment which is super important in a day and age where almost no one carries cash and checks anymore! Appointments are flexible, booking is easy, and both ladies are very professional and efficient. After just one service, it honestly started to feel like visiting family instead of stopping at a salon! I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for one-stop shopping for their beauty, skin, hair, and soul/self care! You won’t regret it!

To say I have indulged in practically EVERY service they offer is not an exaggeration! These girls are AMAZING at what they do. I am always blown away by their professionalism, technique, knowledge, & superb talent. Kaleigh consistently provides me with the best hair services I have ever experienced - even when I lost my hair due to a medical procedure, she bought it back to life! Her blow outs are the BEST and her color techniques (especially vivids and corrective color) are INSANE!! She never fails to impress. Shaianne keeps my lashes & brows looking incredible - the retention surprises me every time - they last me longer than when done by the lash techs I used in the past. She's also a Medical Assistant & Esthetician, so her knowledge on skin care is next level. She is also a Makeup Artist (a true trifecta of talent!) She did my wedding in Sept. 2022 - Kaleigh also did the hair services. Everyone looked gorgeous! They are the ultimate "bridal team"! Both ladies are perfectionists in the best way, and will have you leaving the salon feeling relaxed and happy with your self care. I can not say enough great things. You won't regret it giving these ladies your business.

I have been going to Shaianne for my lashes consistently for over a year and I could not recommend her services more! She is personable, friendly, and flexible in terms of the way she handles her business. My lashes always surpass my expectations and I have great retention. Her prices are great and I look forward to seeing her. Wouldn’t ever go to anybody else ❤️
